Design Snack – Changing Angles in Your Photos

By NYIAD Wedding Mentor on January 21, 2015

Welcome to another NYIAD Design Snack! In this week’s video, we learn how to make images of our designs that are unique.

When taking and collecting images for a portfolio, website, or online store, include photos that are taken from different angles. Show the tops, sides, and bottoms of your pieces. Show them be themselves and coupled with other items. Show them with and without people interacting with them.

Doing this helps to highlight your creations and gives them more life than the traditional one angle shots.

Want to learn how to turn your creative passion into a career? The New York Institute of Art and Design is the world’s largest online interior design school and now offers an online jewelry making class, wedding planning course, and event planning course.
